[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the amazing cacti that I saw in the cactus garden of one of the home owners in the security village where we live. I have no idea what the name of this plant is but I was absolutely intrigued by the dainty pink flowers. According to the owner this is the mother plant that bears the seeds as seen in the pink pods. Plants can be grown from seeds. This plant is from Arizona where the owner used to live.

I will be sharing more from this lovely garden soon.

I think you have captured this cacti very well, its an interesting one aswell. I tried taking a picture only today of a cacti in flower but i didn't get such good results as you. Well done

No...Yes.!!!
It is the one I brought with me from Isla Margarita, in 1999.
Its still growing well, now about 10cm, but still no flowers on it.
I have on video pictures where you dan see, the flowers become that kind of, in my case more red, pepper and stick itself into the top of the soft white stuff. Really amazing to see.
