Hi Jacques,
Almost a surrealistic picture, not only by the tremendous sky, but also by the nice color of the sand. The blue lights on the pier accelerate this effect.... It almost could be outher space on a planet we didn't know it exist.

This is a very impressive and effective composition.

Nice effect of the water on the beach. Gives a calm moodiness which is pleasing. Good light metering and DOF used too.

G'Day,
A very peaceful image to look at. The colours are subdued, but still very effective. The detail in the sand and the flow of the water are great.
While the sky does have some interesting clouds I wondered whether there was too much of it. The horizon cuts the image in half. If you crop a bit of the grey sky off (about half of the sky) it would adjust the position of the horizon relative to the frame and create just as spectacular an image with more effective composition.

Hi,

Don't like the HPP. The thumbnail looks nice, but the bigger image doesn't. I am missing a bit of sharpness and detail. Did you add noise to the sky on purpose?
And maybe the biggest turn-down, all the white spots on the rocks.

Anyway, my 2 cents.
