I have decided to upload more 'crossed processed' images due to the fact that Im so completely stumped by the notion that so few photographers know about this technique. The woes of this superficial digital age....
*she hangs her head for a moment of solem silence*
For the record, I have done ZERO post production to this image other than the standard levels, resize and sharpen to show the effects one can get with this reversal process. |

Hi Tamarin,
awesome shot, i love the mood and the colours, I would have thought you played with the saturation, but you are saying you didnt?? so how did you do it? used the flash of course but what else?
I really like your picture!

Hey Tamarin,
Firstly fantastic image, I love the colours and the amount of noise. The industrial sunset and the flash creates an awesome mood.
Secondly OMG it is soooo strange to see an image from Swartkops, I grew up along the river but haven't been there in about 14 years
Cheers
Marc
Hi Tamarin!
Thanks for your appreciation, I agree..! :P
I like very much this shot, is really interesting.. I love colors and POV.. And, above all, I like your model's hands.. They're gorgeous!
TFS,
Flaminia
beautiful capture and processing...thanks for the note on your earlier post about the "cross processing"...i love the effect this creates...peace***
Nice effect. The grain really adds a strong element to the composition. Good saturation of colours and the high contrast is very effective.
Good POV.
