I like your shot Allen.
But it would be admired only by some thoughtful creative people.
Excellent Imagination.
Congrats
Goeiedag Allen.. (ek dink jy spreek Afriaans? )
But lets continnue in English
Allen..your photo.. you did give some explanation about what and where.. good..
Ask your self, Is this what I had in mind ??..is this intreting for others..
What I see is a sharp photo made with a Fuji Fine pix ..
So ..ok a few more questions..
Do you know the photographers rule of lead-in lines?
Meaning like in here: one of the rails should either come in or out precisely in a corner.
Lead the eye 'in' the photo
Than ask yourself, that fence/gate ( hek soos ons seh in Afrikaans / Hollands )
should it be there or better cropped out..
Also.. often .. the things we do NOT see.. put our brain to work to fill in 'gaps'
That is often the diffrence in putting the balance to the 'good' side..
Vriend, all is here .. but .. but..
Maybe I help you understand what I try to say if you would take a look in the Workshop, I did a few changes ..hope you like it.

HI Allan
I like this composition - You may get different views on this one but I like it because it is something out of the ordinary and a little "out of the box". Without having lines flow from the corners you still managed to stay within the thirds rule and on top of it you have some very nice triangles that most people forget about. I like the little bit of fence too that give the idea that it is indeed out in the country and not just in a locomotive yard. OK that's my personal view.
TFS and making me "think" why I like this shot!
