[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Now its time to share some of the wonderful Namakwaland flowers with you. After good rains in winter this part of our country burst out in colour carpet when the spring flowers that lay dormant through the dry summer months grow and bloom.

This one resembles a common daisy but it is NOT. The markings on the flower resemble the beetles that come to polinate the flowers.

I have another shot of the beetle daisies in a workshop

Great colours, well done.

Wonderful rich colour Wia. Nicely composed, good detail and well framed. Your workshops remind me of the everlastings which grow in the more arid parts of Western Australia. TFS,
David

Hi Wia

Nicely captured, a very interesting flower. I really like the frames you use.

I also looked at your work shop photos and really love the view of all those flowers, when would it be the best time to visit Namaqualand?
Regards
Andrzej

Hello Wia,

This has a face!
Can you see it?

The colours are stunning and I particularly like the shadow which gives the flower a good 3D effect!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
