Another tiny Lachenalia. This one is - according to my friend from the nursery - very scarce and only grows in one specific spot of the Knersvlakte. The individual petals of the little flower is about 1cm long at the most and the flower itself not much more than 3-4 cm in diameter. Really pretty but the light was very harsh when I took this photo and I could not get down low enough (Cranky knees :-) to take it from another POV. Hope you will like this little one too. No more Lachenalias after this one...
I boosted the saturation a little and used the burn tool on the background to eliminate some of the glare from the white pebbles. |
