Greetings, Jen -
You really have a great eye for impressive nature shots. This one uses subtle shadows and and wonderfully sharp textures to convey the contours of this sand dune. Even without something in the frame (such as a person) to provide scale, the dune "feels" very large. Too bad about the white clouds dominating the background, which reduce a bit of the contrast, but there is nothing one can do about such things - the sky does whatever it wants. Very nice image!
