A splash of lighting that lifts the mountain into clarity. After a day of early changing weather this treasure was dropped into the Nikon. Enjoy!

Hi Cecil,
The light in this photo with the dark clouds are very beautiful. How the sun has illuminated part of the famous table mountain is stunning. it is interesting to see how the entire mountain is surrounded by clouds and mist. Your POV isolated the mountain nicely and it is a very original POV.

The difficulty with capturing a mountain from a large distance and framing it on the bottom 1/3 line is that the mountain loses its heigth and becomes a small opbject. Although the sky is an important part of the photo, I think the top layer does not need be included in the photo. making it a more panoramic view by moving the mountain more up the composition would create a more powerful photo. I used the top of my window to reframe the photo (scrolling down) and when I put the horizon in the center of the photo I think it becomes a stonger photo. of course this is pure a person thought.
TFS,
Niek

Hoal Cecil,
Me gusta su magnifica composición y su armonia en tonos y colores. Muy sugerente el cielo nublado, y las pinceladas le luz sobre la montaña.

Gracias.
