This is a B&W pic I took while we were rehearsing the school production. I always put together a photo set from rehearsals for the programme. This year I was even more involved - I wrote, directed and designed the costumes for the darn thing!
This is Mary Poppins, outraged at being arrested (falsely of course)for robbong the Bank of England. I shot in B&W as an experiment. I like the immmediacy of this sort of photography - catching the moments that go so quickly. Not post processing necessary except a little sharpening. |

Hey Tom, let me get a grant to join you! I do child drama as my profession here at Utah State University. This is a very nice image. The moment in this little drama is captured very nicely. While I wish I could see the 'bobby's' face, I can also understand that the focus is on the girl's emotions at this time, which may mean a closer crop on her might be in order. Theatre photography can be very challenging! This is nicely done.
Great image. The girl's face is fantastic. I think I would have liked the people in the lower left cropped out though.
