[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Up to now, I have been only active on TrekEarth and TrekNature. My first picture on TrekEarth was actually on the Khartoum camel market and can be found here.
Therefor, I thought it would be fun to also post on the camel market as being my first shot here on TrekLens!

This shot is showing a camel market outside of Khartoum, about 40 minutes outside of town. The picture has been taken in the morning, but the temperature was already picking up with a 42 degrees C. Still a bit of haze on the horizon from a haboob that passed earlier.

Hope you like it!

Hi Dennis,
Indeed a good idea; your first posting on TL is at least as good as your first posting on TE !! ;-) Welcome my friend.
An original (to me) posting with natural colors and good sharpness. Good pov too.
It seems that it tilts a bit to the left, but maybe I'm wrong.
greetings,
Joop!
p.s. I see you do have an R1 as well .... wow ..... what a machine .... ;-)

Hoi Dennis,
Welcome to TL! You start with a fine image well composed and an interesting subject. Good to see you use the note feature as well! Regarding the quality ofyou image, might be a tad sharper (f/4 aperture is to large, I would suggest f/8 or more IMHO) and I also would have increased the brightness and blue tones of the sky. Nevertheless a superb posting my friend!

groet
Huub

Hello Dennis

Beautiful visual, I had never seen until then a market of camels. I always say, TL is a wonderful culture, in text and in pictures. I am happy that it migrated for here to show us their beautiful works.
Congratulations beautiful picture!

Okay Dennis,
Seeing what's on the ground, this must have smelled something bad and those temperatures - where did you find the energy to make pictures!
Glad you did, love to see a different marketplace from time to time.

Nice work. Good colours. Slight overexposition on the animals. Photo leaning a bit to the left. tfs

Hi Dennis!
This is a warm visual...quite literally...42C is a difficult temperature to live in i know!
Anyways for the shot the subject seems quite photo-friendly :) the colors, light POV, depth all of them just fine...Good Job!
Congrats and thanks for sharing :D
Cheers!
