| Continuing my habit of mixing up the types of photo I've been posting, this one has a fair amount of post processing, but not as much as I've been doing with my "abstracts". This particular cat is difficult to photograph because of her dark colours, which usually get lost if the surrounding areas are bright. On this occasion, she was sitting catching the morning sunlight, and I was trying to capture a very contrasty picture of bright areas which were in the sun and the dark colours of the cat. What I got didn't do what I'd hoped, but it still seemed to have potential, so in photoshop I tried greatly increasing the contrast, which brought out some of her markings, and then, just for fun, changed the hue away from the very warm colours, to colder blues. |

Hi Kate,
cool cat, I like the PP-work here very much, very modern and very fresh. Very well done.
I'm glad to be back at TL after at least one month. I were on holidays in Asia.
Thanks and bye

You play it at the limit... More it could become a ruin :) I like here the colors, the result.. very alive... I enjoy that art result!
Tiens, une photo que j'avais loupée... Sympe, cet effet, et beaux bleus.
