Another exercise in light and shadow.
This was taken in colour, converted to black and white, then sepia toned. I also did some minor adjustment of brightness/contrast to bring out the details in the deeply shadowed areas. |

Yes cats are very strange like that...
Great with the black and white and the added sepia tone (just the right amount). Really interesting shapes of light spots made with the shadows, concentrated at the top, and the cat at the bottom right giving compositional balance. Great depth and perspective with the wooden stair banisters, nice simple frame too and shadows and darkness at the bottom. TFS!
