Creating strong colours from a dull day ... the clouds had moved in, it was late afternoon, with burning grass as a focal point. The original photo was very dull, so I tried intentionally oversaturating it, then adjusted hue and levels slightly, to create strong contrasting colours.

In terms of composition, what caught my eye was the patchwork of fields and grass sandwiched between the dark clouds and the green of the trees in the foreground, but because of the dull day, they didn't stand out in the original.

A nice experiment, Kate! I like all these vivid colours; they can certainly brighten up a dull autumn day! TFS!
