Unfortunately I haven't had much time for photography recently, but here's one I took a few days ago.
I took some photos of an eroded roadside, to see if the shapes and textures would make an interesting product after using filters in photoshop. This one ended up very much as an abstract.
Post processing: cropped to make square format, increased contrast, solarise filter, invert, decreased brightness, increased contrast, resized, sharpened, framed. I've posted the original as a workshop for comparison. |

Good experiment. The one thing I don't like is that the grass remained almost completely natural-lloking, and even if it were purple or blue, the shape would give it away. I do like what you did, nonetheless. The water ripple like blues are interesting as well.
Hello. I like this kind of work. I love the colours of this photo. Well done!!
Que de belles couleurs !

Wonderful colours and textures but I think it would look better maybe with the top one-third cropped off. Maybe I will try a workshop on this later. Love the brilliant colours and what you have achieved with a photo of eroded road!

Hi Kate!
Indeed the shapes and the textures are very interesting and I enjoy the way you handle with them in order to emphasize the colors!
beautiful abstract work!
Congratulations.
