[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Black collared barbet. This was not a domesticated bird - the reason that I was able to get as close as this (about 30 cm from the bird) is that the bird had flown into my window and was a bit stunned, and while it was recovering I was able to get close (and stop my cats from eating it).

Post processing: cropped and sharpened.

Oops Poor bird Hope it recovered well but glad that you could get this very nice close-up shot. They used to frequent my bird feeder very often at my previous home and would also sometimes fly into the glass doors.

I like the red colour and detail of the bird's "Collar" that you captured so well.
