I'm fed up of the wet grey weather here so think I will go where you are today it looks much warmer. There's a lot to look at in this shot and I think it works well in portrait (although would like to see it in landscape as well). I think you were standing up when the shot was taken and I wonder what it would like if you had got down to ground level with the starfish taking up more of the foreground and perhaps the empty beach would be less prominent so the the distant tree line and BIG clouds don't compete with it (or i could be completely wrong)

Good morning David.
Unbelieveble clear water it is.
The starfish and weat, looks if it is laying under glass.
Clouds and sky are gorgeous, aswel the strong line of the beach.
Indeed the sharpness seen at the trees and the wrinkles in the water is a bit high.
Why not finnishing the picture before upload through Photofiltre ? Size, pixels, Kílobites and sharpness, al on one page.

Astonishing, OUTSTANDING Clarity, is that for real? I love that giant white cloud creating the perfect contrast and mood! and the starfish creating a nice colored element in the overall image! I simply love every detail here!

... je n'y connait absolument rien en objectifs... tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que cet effet apporte une dimension vraiment agréable avec juste cette touche de couleur qui vient perturber le bon équilibre du paysage.

Greetings David, and another fine shot that is! Nice wide angle, great depth of field and the excellent idea of placing the little orange starfish down near the bottom. Very interesting shot, the large cloud formation in the background adds a lot of interest and serves to remind us that all is wonderful all the time in paradise!

Doesn't look oversharpened to me ... but what do I know:) All I see is beautiful crystal clear ocean, white sand, and beautiful sky. Love the portrait view, and the wide angle really gives a feel for the expansiveness of this place. Another winner David.
