Last one from the fish market for now.. Off to sunny Moscow in a few hours so hope to have some good Russian summertime images soon...

These are the lads of the 'hood.. Fishermen for a living, the guy in the green top is called Moses and I've got his phone number for when I go back 'cos he wants a copy of this photo he was so happy with it..

RAW, little bit of dodging and burning here and there and resized.

1/125sec @f5,ISO100 and 16mm

A wonderful composition....the brothers all have piercing eyes...they look worried but as your notes say they liked the shot...the color is natural and the clouds look excellent ...good textures and contrast in the quality of the boats.well shown ..it gives an atmosphere of being there ...thanks for sharing

Hi david:
Two things that impress me most here is
The expressions on the faces that you have captured so well here;
and anexcellent lighting to give a balace of shades & sunlight where nothing is over or underexposed!!!
Most excellent!

Hi David,

Nice group portrait - I like how the guy on the left thinks he is not in the picture, so he sticks his hand into where he thinks you are shooting. That's one of the fun parts of that lens, I think. Great color and sharpness, the whole scene is captured here, too, with an interesting background and sky.

So is the guy in the middle an exiled pirate from down south, or what? He looks very nervous to be having his picture taken...

Have a great one!

Nice shot with nice colors, composition...
Very good portraits with nice expression...

Hi David,
The guy in the black t-shirt had some mean eyes for you, thatīs for sure. Colors are very good, as well as overall detail. Only thing that I might have changed is that guy sitting inside the boat - his head is hidden by the guy in the blue shirt. Would have asked him to duck a little and show his face (overall mood of these guys allowing for it).

Great one David! Love their tough expressions!
Great color and sharpness as always. That sky is great behind them.
Very nice job here..
Have a nice time in Moscow

Hi David,
Very interesting composition. It seems that we ARE into the scene with these fishermen. Extreme alive effect.
I also want note the beautiful display of colors mixing the brown, green ochre with the soft cyan on the cloudy sky. This is really a splendid colored and luminous harmony!
My compliments!Annie

You are not just staying in your (pilote ;]?)hotel, but you are looking for the ordenairy folks in the streets, like ive noticed from your India pics,I like that David,
Mmm the guy in the black shirt doesnt look so happy...,thanks to the clouds this picture has great pespectives and depth.
Im glad you keep up the quality of treklens, like trekearth I think has far more Quality but it is so bloody formal and unpersonal,no I dont want to go there again.

Hi David,
A well depicted photo. Excellent emotion captured. Nicely composed. TFS Julie

Hello David,

A fine, clear shot, capturing the expression of the men and the details of their clothes, well.
The crop is good and the pov, with the boat as b/g, and a diagonal towards the smaller boat, makes a well-balanced shot.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi David

Some slight oe on the clouds but nothing serious. Good shadow details in the fg group portrait. Superb sharpness & framing. And I see a level horizon! Have a good weekend!

Hi David.
Class A picture. Perfect.! Like a 3 D it is.
Complements from Jan
