If the future holds in the lines of the hand,
It's in the lines of the face that the past is hidden.

This Berber woman poses in front of her house carved with the stone (under-ground house).
She shows her voluntary simplicity, like others, their material richnesses.
She agrees that tourists take photo, when they come to see vestiges of long time ago.
On her serene face, all lines of time intersect and crosintersec. She offers them to travellers but without revealing herself.
It is with dignity, that she will keep jealously her happinesses, sadnesses, hopes, disappointments,
like treasures hidden with most secret of her deep wrinkles.

Un très beau portrait de cette femme, Annie, qui montre beaucoup du respect que tu as pour cette femme qui a effectivement une vie d'écrite sur son visage. Un peu dommage que l'arrière soit si sur-exposé et que l'on perds un peu du détail de son foulard dans le haut de l'image. Mais le soleil fort du sud n'est pas facile à gérer en photographie. Beau travail!

I like this type of photos very much. She created kind of smile for you. But she can’t show here tees anymore. Just a little more sharpness and contrast make the photo perfect in my opinion
I make a work shop to show what I mean.

Wonderfull Annie!
What an intresting face and you did a good job, she's not affraid at all you take her photo. She really looks so relaxed. I am surprised in a country like Tunesia. You know what: Its your charm that made her looked this cute. Also.. think of what a lot of stories she could have tell you from her life.

un visage qui raconte beaucoup... ces rides, cette lueur dans le regard... que de sérénité dans dans ce portrait...
Un peu de contraste aporterait un plus technique mais je pense que la principale chose est bien passée : l'émotion...
J'aime bien aussi la mutitude de tissu dans cette photo...
Cette femme me fait penser à ma grand-mère qui n'est plus là malheureusement... Elle avait le même regard. Elle lui ressemble beaucoup.

Bonjour Annie, très belle photo, j'ai remarqué ce même regard de bonté chez certains de nos grands parents ici au Canada, serait-ce un trait universel? Ta photo est presque parfaite, à mon goût et j'ai bien dit à mon goût, elle pourrait être 2 clics plus net. L'arrière plan est un peu surexposé et cela fait parti de la vie, on ne peut pas tout contrôler.

Un peu de USM serait souhaitable mais pas autant que dans le workshop.

Que doçura no olhar!!

I love the eyes in this portrait too. She seems to be just barely hiding her amsuement -- lots of sparkle and life still in this aged lady.
