For some reason I battled to upload any photos for a very long time. I eventually gave up and now suddenly it is working again. Strange.
The Vic Falls is amazing and no pic can capture the magnitude of this wonder of the world. The spray is so overwhelming that I had to try and capture it. The locals call it the smoke that thunders.
In the left hand bottom corner is a bit of the rainbow that forms in the mist |

Hi Annette,
Long time no see! :-0 To to have you back on TL after such a long time.. Quite a spectacular view on the Vic falls. Maybe a tad too much mist on the left side. Nonetheless the rainbow is nicely captured even like the view on the falls it self. The tree on the left creates a nice border. A fine post Annette, hope to see more of it.
Hans
N.B. Hope to visit CT in January next year and planning to travel to the Vic falls via Namibia.

Very beautiful picture composition and the tendency. Magic moments, and this is in each case, a marvelous motive in mad colors.
Regards.

So nice to see you here again! This is an amazing scene, complete with rainbow effect:) Good composition to include all the impressive features, not always easy to do with a view that is way too big to fit in the camera...hehe. I like how the tree anchors the image on the right, framing the dramatic falls and leading into the wall of mist. It looks like Mother Nature signed this one with her technicolor pen:) Beautiful.
