Below the mighty and magnificent Victoria Falls. I decided to go white water rafting on the Zambezi river. This was an exhilarating experience, especially as I had never done this before. The Zambezi river has several category 5 rapids, making it one of the most dangerous and technically challenging rivers in the world. An all day event, myself and other tourists embarked on this from the Zambian side of the Falls, crossing the Zambezi bridge from Zimbabwe.

I took this photo only minutes after settling into my assigned inflatable boat. Here I was in the swirling pool just below the main falls, the sound of which was deafening but the view was absolutely breathtaking. This was the beginning of an action-packed day.

Yeah that must have been an awesome experience.
I've always wanted/not wanted to raft the Zambezi. I think I'd do it,but I'd probably s*** myself! Wouldn't mind trying the big bungy there too.
Great photo by the way.
Cheers,
Steve

Great photo Martyn, into the white light, almost looks like eternity, I bet it was a fun ride that's for sure :-)

Great colors, composition and texture. The white background gives a breathtaking sense of depth. TFS
