[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A new school fad. They are little gel type balls that they use for plants. If you throw them in water they swell. It is a nice ornamental item in a tranparent glass vase. The sell them at schools at a ripp off price, as long as it makes the kiddies happy. They think it gets babies but it is not so, when a small piece breaks off while it can still swell. It takes on a round shape but obviously remains small.

You can get them at the flea market where they sell plant pottery and goodies like vases. They come in small bags in different colours like green, red, opaque, etc or mixed. They are around R5.00/bag with a few hundred small balls. The Opaque ones seem to grow the biggest, read on the bag.

Sorry ... no EXIF

An interesting idea for an abstract macro but the picture lacks details and sharpness and the oof foreground doesn't help the viewer to focus on the picture. Perhaps an in focus foreground with oof background would have more impact?
Thanks....Mark
