Hi all,
This is a portrait of a good friend I took quite some time ago. We went to Cambridge for the day just to see each other before she left for university. Waiting outside the cinema, I saw an umbrella in a rather sorry state lying on the path, and asked (told) her to hold it so I can take a photo :P
I've lost the original RAW file along with most of my RAW files when my hard drive messsed up so unfortunately I don't know the exact date or exposure data. F2.8 is just a guess.
I did very little PP. No cropping, just desaturation, levels, and a tiny bit of sharpening.
portraits arn't really my thing so any comments greatly appreciated.
Hope you like it,

Great tonal range, and good B&W rendition. Nice composition in two panes, the umbrella and the subject. I like the way she looks to her right. Good job, Jako!

A very nice portrait of your friend and a very good use of this prop, Jako. She looks a bit shy in front of the camera and not too sure she really wants to be there but there is a certain charm with her uncertain eyes looking toward the broken down umbrella. Nice use of very limited elements. Well done!
Very nice balance in tone in this Jako. It's always nice to see variety, not that I should talk :)
wonderful portrait, really nice composition with the umbrella!
