[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all,

Thought I'd take a break from flowers and post my first scavenger hunt photo tonight.

The idea came into my head as soon as I read the list of entries. This is a rather simple shot, with the camera on tripod and natural light from a window. PP was pretty basic too, with just levels and a very slight crop on the left. Also the obvious desaturation and sepia toning.

Hope you like it,
Jako

Hi Jako!
Good entry for the Hunt! Didn't you mean 'keyboard' category? I know the keys are also repeating, but... :)

Seb

Great POV and angle, wonderful in desaturation and sepia toning, giving it a timeless look. Thanks for sharing!

Good choice of sepia as well as use of perspective to enhance the dof. Good work!

At first glance, I thought it was a stairway! And then I thought it was an escalator! Nice shot of piano keys! I love the use of the super wide angle on this!

very nice shooting angle and a very cool piano.. clever sepia toning.. but i am somewhat bothered by the jagged and 'pixelated' edges on some of the keys..

though, overall, i am satisfied with the photo and the idea.. :)

long live sigma!

take care,

Good perspective, putting a different slant (pun intended!) on the piano. Use of muted sepia tone as opposed to pure b&w gives a soft feeling to the picture.
Thanks for sharing

Nice angle on this shot.
Great in BW, more dramatic.
NIce perspective.
:-)

Beautiful grains in the wood, I love it Jako.

Superb angle, and just a nice take on a piano. My Grandfather's Wife has a piano much like this, maybe a little more aged though. Nicely executed... :P

Love it! I've missed your work, sorry for the eternal silence, my computer screen was broken! :| (Total nightmare!)

Biance.
