| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi all,
Well I guess this will be the last from this series, as the photos are all kind of similar. as I also said in the previous notes, I tried to keep PP minimal. Here I actually did a bit more than the others, selectively using different parts of different exposures to try and balance the hidious light to some extent. Besides that, just a little cropping (didn't like it too tight) and some USM.
Hope you like it,
Jako |

Nice portrait, Jako!
I likes the light here, and good sharpness on details against blurred BG. This photo made with soul, I think...
Best wishes,

My favourite of the series, Jako. I really like this tighter composition showing only the side of her face. The smoke coming out of her mouth is quite nicely captured as well. I also like the play of light & shadow on her face. Nice conversion to B&W. Well done!
Nice portrait shot, and like the other comments I like the way you've used the light (so perhaps not that hideous!). You've captured some nice tones here, and I love the shadows across the face.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
FLIPPIN' NICE!
Jako, this shot is so humane. There's a tenderness that comes through this shot, more so from the photographer than the actual model. I say this because of the close angle, something most people (pertaining to the model) despise, because it is so up-close and personal. Another thing is how you can see her frown lines, and the imperfections on her skin- I think it truly makes her all the more beautiful. I'm truly sick of all these tampered magazines, no-one looks like those people!
Great use of sharpness/blur. Another simple and yet... a classy frame. En ek hou baie van die wit en swart! (I had too.) :P
Biance.
