[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all,

I took this probably about a fortnight ago, I don't remember the exact date. It's my 10-20mm lens. Not sure what drew me to photograph it in the first place, but I liked the results when I started experimenting. I can't remember what the colour balance was in-camera, but I liked the blue cast from the 'cold' flash so I didn't bother correcting it in RawShooter.

PP- Not a great deal. Slight levels tweaking, and cloned out a few dust specs on the front element of the lens (the one I photographed) then some USM.

Hope you like it,
Jako

Hi Jako,
very very beautiful tones of blue! I love blue, but this one from your shot is absolutely stunning! Great idea and presentation. Congrats!

Kindly regards,
Ioana

Oh la la... very attractive image here!

Great close up, I love how you can see the subtle grain patterns in the material the lens is made of. And the little shine marks look lovely... really 'pops' out of the image. Oh and by the way, why do so many of your shots list under Antartica??

Wonderful use of light... tfs.

Biance.

Hi Jako!

If I would be you, I would contact the manufacturer of the lens and try to sell it for his advertisement...

What I want to say is that it is just a great picture, with an amazing alienation effect one wouldn't expect. I also agree with you that the blue cast is perfect here.

There's not much more to say about it... I just like it, and I know this is very subjective. But that's all about taking pictures!

Kind regards
Markus
