Sailing the Errera channel in Antarctica.

The clouds were ascending from the mountain top. Ice was closing in calling the end of South summer.

No processing at all here.

See workshop for B&W version

Cheers,

Wellington

Atravessando o estreito de Herrera, o gelo já estava fechando, chamando o final do verão. Fomos a ultima embarcação a passar naquele canal até outubro de 2008.

Não houve processamento algum na foto.
Vejam a versão P&B no workshop. Usei um filtro polarizador quando fiz a foto, obtendo assim este efeito no céu.

Abraço a todos,

Wellington

Wow! An amazing sight that few of us will ever have the opportunity to see. No OE on the snow, and really nice graduation of color in the sky. Just a great shot Wellington.

Hi Wellington Perfect colors, sharpness, and contrast captured .
Wonderful composition
well done
Hazara

Stunning scene captured here with beautiful rendering of the sky against the ethereal glowing blue glacier peaks. Perfect exposure without blowing out white snow highlights and thanks for sharing this amazing place with us.

regards,

Dilshan

Hi Wellington..great shot...wonderful tones and colors...excellent.

Roger

Amazing scenery and well captured. Good exposure allowing for the brightness of the snow.

I feel that maybe the mountain is too central and would have cropped some of the sky out just to adjust the 'balance' perhaps.

Good to see photos of this part of the world.

Un vent frais passe par ici, la force du bleu et blanc dégage une dynamique intéressante. J'aime beaucoup la netteté du relief... ça donne des envies d'évasion
Bonne journée

Karèle

Thanks for posting this one Wellington, its an amazing sight, the polarizer has produced a lovely gradient in the sky. Its difficult to judge the scale but it looks huge .... and now its back to the flowers and insects hhmmmm
cheers
Jack
