[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the first photo from my antarctica-journey in December 2007 I like to share with you.

I took this photo at Gold Harbour, a beach with a great population of kingpenguins. Approximately 50.000 kingpenguins are living there. The little penguins on this photo are 10 to 13 month old and they always stay together and wait for their parents to come back from the sea.

If you know the film "the journey of the penguins", you may imagine the sounds of these penguins. It really sounds like on TV.

It was a very special moment for me to stand between all this little penguins. You donīt know where to look first or where to take a photo, because it was so impressing to me!

Excellent shot, having couple of parents in the crowd make this photo very powerful.. must have been a great experience, hope to be there someday myself too, thanks Martin..

Nice tight crop on the baby penguins and good exposure. I only wish I have the opportunity one day to experience such journey :)

Fantastic capture. Reminds me of a recent cover on Outdoor Photograper, by Franz Lanting. Well composed. Love the contrast in colors between the chicks and adults.

What a great Kindergarten this is. I can imagine that you would not know which way to look. But those parents in the middle make for a nice contrast.
