[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On February 29, 2008, while crossing the Scotia Sea, Christoph Höllger performed a reading of the text "My name is Shackleton" in English, all dressed up as an Antarctic Explorer from the early 1900.

This is his portrait. Well done Christoph

Durante a travessia do Mar da Scotia, em 29 de fevereiro de 2008, Christoph Höllger fez uma performance de leitura do texto "My name is Shackleton" , todo vistido a rigor como um explorar do inicio dos anos 1900.

Aproveitei a oportunidade do holofote direcional para fazer umas fotos da silueta, apesar da grande dificuldade de se mover ao redor sem estragar a performance!

O workshop tras a versão P&B.

Hi Wellington

I like the superb backlighting on the silhouetted, profiled, human figure, in the fg. Good sharpness, lighting, & graphism. Tfs!

This is a wonderfully worked shot. It took me a little while to find Christoph among the lights but that is the delight of the photo - as you look he emerges out of the dark.
I dabbled with a minimalist approach to this shot in a WS but do not suggest it improves on the original - I post it just for fun.

Magnífica experiência (eu tiraria a classificação como de humor, pois não é). Gostei muito da observação de tezza quando diz que a imagem vai sugindo gradativamente quando os olhos vão se acostumando. Isso é grande arte.

O controle da luz, com o halo formado ao redor do homem ficou excelente. Mesmo pegando de frente os refletores, a luz não estourou.
