[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Founded by legendary Norwegian Captain Carl Anton Larsen in 1904, Grytviken was the first whaling station in Antarctic water.
Petrel is one of the steam-powered whale-catcher derelict ships, in excelent state beached there.

Ps work included the monochrome choice in Channel mixer, decrease in brightness and increase contrast + all the steps to post in TL.

ps. I know this is South Georgia and not Antarctic peninsula, but pictures are part of the same trip to Antarctic and I bundle it all together.

Nice take on this one. You sometimes have to compromise shooting a large vessel with regards to the mast and getting the whole thing in, but I think this comp works very well and I like the BW treatment. It could have been taken anytime in the last century by the mood you have created. Regards, TW
