Hard Rocket Cafe

I deployed for a year as a defense attorney, providing legal services to Soldiers in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. To carry out that role, I traveled all over the theater of operations. I was not injured the entire time, but I did have some near misses.
This photo is from my week at Orgun-E, Paktika Province, about 30k from the Pakistan border and definitely in "Indian country." The day after being rocketed by 122mm artillery rockets, I found this sign decorated with shrapnel from a similar attack. The building was built by the Soviets in the 1970s to control the area. |

Nice shot!
The object is perfectly centered. The textures are great too.
PS: IT's that a "copy" of HARD ROCK CAFE?
Roberto Juarez!
Interesting image and story line, I would of preferred this image darker (to bring out more textures in the sign). Still a good candid image.

Thank God you're still able to make fun of it. I worry about my mates and colegues overthere. And I fear the day I have to go.
