Like the new hat and the worn out clothes as well as the honest look and the yesterday's fight marks on the cheek...

good composition but its totaly out of fouces...
The colors and tones here are really beautiful Khalil. The natural lighting used to highlight the left sides of the boy's face and body is very effective in making the shot more dramatic and full of mood. Very good vertical cropping and framing to focus only on the main subject. Maybe you could have cropped just a few centimeters off the bottom to make the composition fit the rule of thirds more and bring more balance. That hat the boy is wearing is just gorgeous, and maybe it would be better if it was not slightly cropped at the top edge of the photo. Wonderful expression from him. Try having just a tiny bit more room for him at the left side instead of the right so that the viewer can focus on the boy's gaze and expression. There's a slight bit of camera shake or softness, but this is such a beautiful portrait. Did you talk to this boy? Hope to see more of your work!
