[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My first spotting of a stick insect in the wild. Today was my first true morning trekking/photographing session and I discovered that photography can be really good exercise! It was a hill climb walk organized by the B.R.N. (Brunei Nature Society). I was drenched in sweat climbing the hills and was in a very "sticky" situation until I spotted this...Cropped and resized only. Hope you like it and any comments welcome....

Olá!
Óptima definição, luz e enquadramento.
Muitos Parabéns!

What an amazing creature ... I've never seen - well, spotted - one of these, but then I don't even know if they exist in New Zealand and I certainly haven't done much bug-watching in other countries.

I really don't know about photographing insects so I don't have any advice on how this could have been done better, you have diagonal comp and the insect's body is sharp, despite the slow shutter - looks good to me.

I can only imagine how uncomfortable the climb must've been ... the tropical heat can be a killer!

Hello Dilshan,

Very good macro shot of this amazing insect. I've never seen it before.
My opinion is that the focus, lightness and sharpness are excellent.
