[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a sequence of pictures that I took couple of days ago and posted one of them earlier in the week. The feedback from that post was that I should have posted a picture of the net hitting the water and here it is. The previous picture was too small as well and did not help matters in the clarity department and this time I ensured I got a better sized upload.

I loved the light coming through the net as it was taken during the golden hour. I was somewhat lucky to be on the otherside of the bank to catch this light.

I took this in VIVID picture styles mode to enhance the colours. Then cropped out some distractions and resized for upload. Please tell me what you think and your feedback is always appreciated.

Regards,

Dilshan

Hi Dilshan,
A beautiful moment captured. Your timing is perfect and shows the action wonderfully. I love the light in your photo and the perfect composition. The whole photo allows to view a story and to view where these man work. Technically its all perfect.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Dilshan!

Well, I think it's perfectly captured. The illuminated net hitting the water makes this photo spectacular. The clarity, depth of field and BG lighting are all very good. Interesting photo.

Possibly the only thing I'd have done differently - right or wrong - is to have zoomed in more on the fisherman. As much as the boat is part of his context, to me the real subject is casting the net; so a closer zoom would not only keep interest and attention on the casting of the net, it would create a narrower DOF and more background blur.

To me, that, more than any cropping or size issues, would be the crucial factor in improving this.

That said - great timing and great subject!

dear Dilshan Mahdi,
your previous shot looks more motion-ful,
but this picture shows me more beautiful scene of the light on the water very well.
the moment of splashing net is clearly captured surely, it is unique and beautiful,
but in my feeling surrounding objects are so beautiful too and make good feeling in it,
I like the bridge that looks more attractive in previous shot to me.
anyway nice series shot indeed,
thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Dilshan,
You picked the right moment on the right day to catch these fishermen in action. The illuminated net, the golden light make this a very arresting and attractive photo. I enjoy seeing places that I haven't been, may never go to, and this is one of the best.
Regards,
Lois
