Hi Peeps,

This is a second image for the series. This is a Paddy, up close and personal. I shot this with my trusty 70-200 sigma macro and i got this result. Personally, i never seen a paddy plant this close and i want to share this experience with friends in TL.

ohh...what a beautiful paddy grains intact on the stalk. the sharpness & clarity against the blurred BG makes it so vivid.

Hello Mohammad Rozaimi,

This is faboulous and you have presented it very well within frame.

Have you used a tripod? Taking macro shots of such objects isn't difficult, I never tried but I think that shaking hands plus the wind might disturb a lot to focus of such freely hanging objects.

You have done a great job, awesome focus.

Nice capture of this plant, I've also never seen rice as close to it's origin as here. The criss-cross pattern of the background is a bit disturbing.

I have actually wondered how they look like in close-up!
Fine macro work with DOF spot on, the background is nicely blurred and makes the subject stand out well...
A simple but effective composition!

beautiful shot biji padi tu, bro.. eheh nampak aku yg kosong juga.. padi kampung memang begini.. aku tak lah expert sangat tapi boleh la.. kalo sudah dituai ne lebih banyak hampas dari isi :)

dulu muda2 clalu ketam padi.. sekarang ko suruh aku 5 minit ja nda tahan.. panaslah.. jangan kata aku puteri lilin.. sekarang orang nda tahan panas.. eheh.. apa pon lawa bro.. cantik kaler2 tu. well done.

Wow. Very sharp and close up macro nicely done. Good DOF blur. Superbly done with bright light falling on the stalk.

I have never seen a paddy plant, in any form AJ, so this is a wonderful treat. I love the way it looks the reds against the greens. It is simple posting that is just so beautiful, and clear. DOF , POV and clarity are the best. Thank you for sharing this one. Excellent work.
