[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was shot during a talent show held for the youngsters by the Sri Lankan Association of Brunei where we live. The circular movement of the young dancers with the relatively stationary seated subjects tempted me to try a slow shutter speed motion flow effect shot and I shot this hand held in Shutter priority mode at 1/14 sec with my old faithful Fuji finepic 6.3MP Super CCD S6000fd camera (before my D90 purchase). The seated subject on the left of the frame is actually my daughter and she absolutely loves this photo. So that is why I decided to post it. Any comments/critiques/workshops welcome and thanks for dropping by.

Hi Dilshan - personally, I don't think you've done much wrong here at all - I certainly can't make any suggestions for improvement, I think it all works pretty well.

The low point of views looks good, the background is sharp and there is just enough clarity on the subjects to allow us to know what is going on in the image. The shutterspeed seems about perfect, some really nice movement blur, especially on the sticks of the two seated girls. I believe you've achieved your goal with this shot - it radiates fun and energy. Very nice.

dear Dilshan Mahdi,
a very cheerful shot of wonderful girls.
motive figures of girls are very realistic and beautiful to my eyes,
I like this blurred effect, it shows me the moving time itself.
light and colors are also joyful, composition is like a show stage.
and this smiling air covering whole image is superb,
thank you,
Akihisa

Nice movement shot, congratullations
