This guy works hard, earns less than he deserves and supports his entire family that lives half a world away. So much for all men are equal- take a long hard look....life is hard.

Any comments welcome and thanks for dropping by.

regards,

Dilshan

Hi Dilshan,

A nice portrait of a hard working man very nicely presented by using black and white medium. I like the shades and tones the details are nice and sharp well done.

Regards
Jon

good capture of a hard working man... love the eye contact... using a wider aperture isolate the BG, removing the cars from the scene.. but yup when you are doing streets sometimes it is hard to adjust the settings in time for the shot... but still a good catch... well done TFS

Hi Dilshan

Hello Dilshan,
A fine portrait of the hard-working man. I am an admirer of daily scene like this. You have established good eye contact, the b&w rendition resulted in fine contrast and tone. I would consider cropping the top to eliminate the sky and provide more emphasis to your subject. Wishing you a good day.

Hi Dilshan

I would rope off the lower 1/2 of the image as well as the man's head, apply a big feather of 100+ p, & boost contrast. Good sharpness in this superb b&w portrait of the hard working man. Excellent shadow detail & well managed backlighting. Tfs!

Thank you for the reminder. It is far too easy to forget how hard it is for many. Pain and suffering, as many aspects of life are relative. In America, I live a comfortable life; however, life has been hard for me at times. For others, my suffering may seem like a mosquito bite. I’ve heard it said that if one owns their own home that they are wealthier than 80% of those in the world.

Great B&W effect!

Real-life photos are actually my favorite, but I haven’t taken one yet.

A good day to you my friend.
Dennis

Hi Dilshan,

A good daily life shot that shows the reality of how difficult life is for so many. Your subject is making excellent eye contact with the camera and the B&W conversion works well.

Best regards,
Werner

dear Dilshan Mahdi,
yes his eyes and face look rather hard,
but he seems having strong will for life to me,
in this shot, his face is in the shadow, and looks a little dark, maybe more lighted condition shows us a little more detail of his expression...
anyway, nice portrait shot of him,
thank you,
Akihisa

Salam Bro..
