Hello Hans, this is a very good shot of the flower from the Canon Ball Tree - I don't know it either. Most of the buds are all in focus - nice and sharp and very colourful too. Well done.

What a lovely flower - I have seen them growing in Barbados, hardly any leaves, just bare branches and throns and then those lovely flowers.
Excellent picture.

This is an excellent capture Hans. I really like the red and green colors in the flower. The detail in this flower is very good. I have never seen this type of flower before, it certainly is an interesting one. Nice work.

Nice DOF, sharp details and interesting colours. An interesting picture of an interesting flower. The spots of light through the foliage in the bg are a little distracting but nothing that a little cloning wouldn't fix.

sure - It's me again - after a long break.
I hope you remember me ;-)
I missed all my friends here, and all the wonderful shots - like this one, I love this flower, so special, so beautiful, I have seen it several times in Asia, but it's always amazing again to look at this blossom and also at the big fruits - and I always hope that this one will not fall on my head an knock me out!
So thanks, I will post again - I think tomorrow, I have to think which shot will be good for my "comeback".
