A boy beside river

| When I met this boy, he was sitting there quietly beside the river outside the Angkor Wat. He didn't move, didn't say a word, watching me walking towards him. What he was thinking? I don't know. He looked so sad, lonely and mature. I don't know how to help him and let him feel warm. I gave him a pack of color pencils. He took them quietly. He didn't smile. |

Hi Antony,
that's a sad boy, I love to see him laughing - what has he seen in his short life.
But it's an impressive shot, the dark face against the most wonderful architecture of Angkor, it's a place I love and hate - Angkor, so beautiful, and the history of Cambodia - you can see that dark history everywhere and so you can't be as happy as you want to be while looking at Angkor.
I don't know if you understand what I mean with my bad English, it's difficult to explane. I would never forget or miss my visit in Cambodia but I remember other countries like Thailand or Myanmar more colourful and happy, the people are so different.
So thanks, you gave me wonderful memories back, bye and greetings

Hello Antony!
Dark mood , dark tone, dark idea.... The image is a strong but beautiful portrait of this young boy. Your camera captured well the feelings of the boy. Despite the blurred BG we still recognize the conspicious architecture of Angkor Wat.
Great composition !
Well done !
