[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pictures usually don't bring tears to my eyes. Especially photos I've taken myself. Especially as I am taking them. It's not like tears were falling onto the camera, but the expression on this girl's face as she stared up at the stained glass window at church this morning expresses very well, I think, the question that's been on a lot of people's minds since Monday.

Hi Ted,
A good journalistic capture of the fear of a child. Hard to write "awonderful image"concerning the terror of nature they experienced. the city of Chengdu I visited too, how is the inner city, any damage there? Anyway an superb impression of the child.

Hi Ted,
Very good capture of the mood. Good colors and good timing.
greetings,
Joop!

Hi Ted,

My heart feels for the pain and fear for this little girl. Her emotion is real, felt, and heartbreaking. A different emotion is seen in the person next to her.

thank you for opening our eyes to the people directly effected by this event.

Lisa

Ted - I suppose it's how we react to the things life puts before us that makes us unique. I like the questioning look on the child- but I also like the contrast to the older lady behind her...
A sharpening filter would have helped a lot with this photo - well done - thanks for sharing this :)

A most heartbreaking expression. My prayers are with all of these people affected by this disaster.
