A photo taken at one of the villages of my hometown, after the earthquake.
Camera: Big mini
Film: Expired Kodak Max 400
My just arrival here actually made me a bit scared being among well-equipped/skillful photogaphers, as I record my daily life only with a big mini and a holga. You would say it a joke, but it is in this lo-fi/layman way I keep on my photography journey, and find colours through it.
Any constructive comment is welcomed.
Thanks in advance. |

The devastation is immense it must be very hard for people living there. Great composition and point of view, nice depth of field, colours are nice and sharp, well done.
PS More notes would help and welcome to trek lens.
Regards
Jon
Hi Xiao Li,
Where's your hometown? We were in Nanchong, which didn't get much damage, but we sure felt the ground shake.
This image sure shows the situation well, and I like the worker.
Good job.

This looks fine to me, a simple, uncontrived shot of the mammoth task faced, cleaning up after the terrible earthquake.
The colours and metering overall are very nicely balanced, even if it is 'expired' film - the contrasts are low and the sky doesn't look overexposed.
Good work
