[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A pile of bamboo scrolls--an ancient equivalent to a shelf of books. If a teacher was teaching a class of students, it would be an interesting sound, I think, when the teacher asked the students to turn (literally-"Turn to page 5 in your book" doesn't make sense--nothing is rotating) to a certain section. I'm not sure, though, if students would usually have their own scrolls, or if the teacher was the only one who had one.

These were in the corner of a darkish room, but I didn't want to use a flash.

It's an interesting subject but I don't know if it's quite interesting enough to fill an entire frame. Perhaps if you included more of the context it might have been better.

Very good job with the sharpness - how did you steady the camera?
