[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The day is quite warm. Busy with the flow of people and life. Sitting, a young girl waits. There is only so much she can do. The hope would be that everyone who walks by needs a shine and for less than half a dollar - a price can be negotiated. She is an apprentice. Her mother sits a block away ... taking on traffickers headed the other way. It is a crowded spot. The streets amass with business - it is Zhangzhou, China.

It's a good street scene from the busy life in the cities of China. I'm actually on my way to Shenzhen. Taxi will be here in 4 minutes.

Anyways, I can't help but notice the noise in this photo. I see from you EXIF data that it's shot at ISO 1600, 1/320, f/5.6. I think you could have easily dropped the ISO to 400 and shot this hand held at 1/80. Maybe even ISO 200 at 1/40. Your focal length was 36mm so considering the rule of thumb regarding shutter speed and focal length you shutter speed should have been minimum 1/36 to avoid camera shake. That does not take subject movement into account.

Cheers,
Jens
