Walking in a narrow road I saw this boy reading. The ambience of an old Chinese village (in fact it is in a water village, a kind if mini Vinice, 2 hours drive west of Shanghai) with the red lantern and the dark alley and the boy triggered me to click my camera.
The result is very pleasing to me(at least) but the exposure was very poor and the boy was almost invisible. I tried by best to modified using photoshop to turn it into a kind of a Chinese painting. Any comment in welcome |

This is very pleasing to me, too. I like the lanterns, and the boy reading is great. His jacket might be too modern for the painting effect, though--if you posted the original as a workshop, it would be interesting to see what other people come up with.
good savior aditya,
