Ladies swimsuits for sale on Qingdao beach with the huge modern city in the background. This is where the yachting events during the recent Olympics was held. A modern city with over 8 million inhabitants, many here to help construction of more glass towers and high apartments. A tribute to China of today.

By the end of 2006, Qingdao was estimated to be the home of about 8 million inhabitants, of which around 3 million reside in the Qingdao urban area. Another estimated 5 million live in other cities under Qingdao's jurisdiction. The annual birth rate is calculated around 76,507, with a birth rate of 10.15 per year per thousand, and a death rate of 6.32, both calculated on an annual basis. Living standards are among highest of leading Chinese cities due to the strong export economy and relatively high family wages.

While Qingdao is home to 38 Chinese ethnic minorities they constitute only 0.14% of the city's total population. Qingdao boasts a vibrant expatriate community, led by the Korean community which comprised over 80,000 individuals in 2007.

Hi Murray,
I can honestly say that I have never seen swimsuits for sale at the beach before, LOL. Humorous scene, I wonder where the changing rooms are :). The city looks great in the background, nice sharp foreground details too. A few topless ones there, hopefully not against the TOS, haha. Well seen and captured buddy.

Qingdao skyline is impressive. It is even more impressive how fast they build modern buildings and apartments. The lined swimsuits are sharp and create a mighty fine f/g. Regards.

Thanks for uploading a shot from this little visited city. I've never been to Qingdao despite 6 trips to China. The swimsuits add a nice splash of colour in the fg. Tfs!
