[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A novel way of delivering Qingdao beer at this Russian style restaurant in the bustling port city of Qingdao. The tall container holds around 2.2 litres about the right amount to fill a tableful of glasses. It was a challenge getting our point across with the mainly Russian speaking staff here, but it was certainly an evening to savour.

Russian-speaking Chinese?...It made me curious and I certainly would love to hear that Murray. A fine daily life capture. The beer's froth and its pale yellow color are emphasized, the beer looks robust and thirst-quenching. Considering the low light situation, this came out well. Regards.

Hi Murray

Just say spasibo (thanks)! It worked for me in Siberia! A superb daily life shot of the beer hall. The long cylinder at left full of the amber fluid is unusual. Tfs!

Well I have to say I think the Canon would've delivered a cleaner result for you here Murray, the Sony appears to struggle in low-light conditions; but you have captured this with reasonable composition.

Not sure if you lightened this one in post-work to lift some shadows, but to me it seems a good candidate for b&w treatment. Not much is contributed by the colours, and I think b&w would help get through some of the colour-related noise.

Camera was probably a little close, too, the same shot from further back would've given you better proportions.
