[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Only have 1 hour to visit Forbidden City Beijing, and the tour guide suggested to see it from behind it, which is Jingshan park.
At least required 2 hours to walk through the Forbiden city from entrance to exit.
I took this image from Jingshan park, an artificial land form which came into existence at the beginning of the 15th century, when the Ming emperor Yongle had moats dug all around the Forbidden City.

Forbidden city covers an area of 720.000 square metres (861.000 square yards), running a distance of 961 metres (3.150 ft) from north to south and 753 metres (2.470 ft) from east to west. It is surrounded by a broad moat and protected by a rectangular wall 10 metres (35ft) high. (Copied from the City guide).

PP work:
When I stop by in Singapore from Beijing, I bought a book 'Sketched Singapore', and try to learn how do they did this drawing, and at the same place I found a software which is sold SGP$ 12.00 - MasterArtClassic . . which convert easily the JPG to this sketched image.

This Forbidden city is captured from above, and it's only small part of it. Sketched, add frame and resize.

Thank you for viewing it.

Cheers,
Tjutjut

Hello Tjutjut!

Very cool PP! These days I am sure many artprints are made from Photo processing. Fast and easy way to produce rapidly and beautifully too prints for tourists. I have seen may on a recent visit in Montreal.

The effect is quite good here. The B&W choice is good to enhance the old look of the City.

Well done !
Robert

Hi Tjutjut

Treklens is for us to learn about photography and a big part of that is post-processing - and you have done that very well here, congratulations!

Good morning my friend

Lovely PP work, Tl is all about experimenting and you chose a beautiful image for this processing which seems to suit it very well.

Great work

TFS regards Helen

Hi Tjutjut. Very good clear capture of this drawing and you have added a most appropriate frame to set it off well. tfs. Murray.

Hi Tjutjut, I have a similar option with my prefrred photo imaging program but it doesn't show the detail that you have achieved here. Excellent result and a well composed image. TFS,
David
