A strange sight as we near the land on a lake in lanzhou leading to the Bingling Thousand Buddha Caves - which is located on the Small Jishi Hill, about 35 kilometers (about 22 miles) west of Yongjing County in Lanzhou City.....part of my upcoming series on the Silk Road leading up to Urumqi from Xian....

Wow Danny,

This is a spectacular shot. There is a 3 dimensional quality to this picture. It has a nice complexity to it. Everything that needs to be sharp is well rendered, the colors are stunning and POV magnificent. Very well done Danny.

Great shot. I love the contrast between the browns and greens at the base of the mountains. The detail in the mountains is also fantastic. Nice work.

its good but you could try the horizon up or down on the thirds depending on which holds more interest sky or water, lovely and clear and what an amazing landscape.
