[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Getting in some laps before work, this speed skater does some speed skating before the course gets too crowded. Although the sun is shining, the temperature is around minus 12 degrees celcius after a low of minus 23 the night before.

Hi Murray - you've caught some interesting shot recently and this one is up there. There's a nice feel here and I wonder if it would look good in a b/w conversion given there isn't much colour there to start with? The diagonal composition and the way the skater has just entered the frame are attractive points. -23?? Aiyah!

This weekend the World Championship Speedskating "Alround", in Germany, Berlin.
Our Dutch worldchampions from last year, Irene Wurst and Sven Kramer, will try to continue these results.
