Hello Murray.
Perfect choosen picture for this day of the Europian Ice speed skating cames in near Moscow.
The thirth race, the 1500 meters for man and wiman are just finneshes. Our Dutch Irene Wurst won the race and is leading the class.
Our big Champion by the men, Sven Kramer became thirth on this 1500 meters, But He won the 500 and the 5000 meters and is still number one. For the 10.000 who followes, he is world leader with an unbelieveble record time.
So, no doubt, he will be again the champion.
Irene, is still not sure about the final 5000 race for wiman and for the final result.

Hello Murray,
I guess they are Dutch tourists, as I think skating is the national winter sport in Holland!
Otherwise it is interesting to see they are skating on a lake...
Nice composition, and I think the guy behind will pass!

Hi Murray,
Great capture of these ice speed skaters. As you might know we Dutchies addore speed skating :-) and I'm not sure if this guy in front can beat the 20 year old Dutch world champ Sven Kramer I bet not :-)
Great image a tighter crop and more saturation might improve the picture even more, check my WS. Nonetheless a fine posting my friend!
