[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A modern hotel in China. One of more than a hundred around the world, part of the Kempinski chain is as good as any in China. One of many modern and stylish building which is part of a renaissance of sorts remewing a former iron & steel city. These days aircraft parts are made here, much of which is exported as well as for locally built jets. Taken mid winter when the skies around here are blue rather than the haze which dominates the summer all around this huge country.

WS has an alternative view from further away.

Good, crisp, clean detail of the building. I'm a little uncomfortable with the pine? chaos at the bottom of the shot, I really don't find it helpful and a different POV might have been better for this.

Hi Murray, from the Northern beaches of Sydney to this, a major leap. I don't mind the tree, it helps break the subject up and adds some contrast. Perspectives well handled and the Sony gave you some good natural colours,
David

Hi Murray

A superb warm vs cold colour contrast between the red & blue. Perhaps a slight ccw rotation? Good placement of the hotel on the 1/3 axis. Tfs!
